Private Tuition & Couples Training
Many SSDAC couples now benefit significantly from their regular weekly private tuition and we now hold up to 14 sessions per week. Some of our couples now train for up to 8 hours per week, with some of the UK’s finest training for 12+ hours per week so the need for ongoing training and development is essential for success. Private lessons are hard work!!! The fun and elation occurs when you learn and win, achieve better results than you had expected or are able to put into practice or competition the specific elements that you have learned and mastered. These can often provide you with the edge over your competitors! Lessons are most certainly focussed on intense training and during each 60 minute session, each couple undertakes to deliver a total commitment, drive, focus and discipline. Sarka will involve herself with you and your partner, be creative, repair when necessary and observe. This process serves to ensure that you progress at a much faster rate than you would usually in all aspects of your ability and overall performance in dance. Lessons are run by Sarka Brock and occur during 14 weekly sessions that are available to all SSDAC members. Many of these sessions are pre-booked for several weeks ahead and it is very important to ensure that you reserve your private tuition slots in advance. SSDAC contribute generously towards the cost of private lessons, which allows for fantastic value for each couple. The fees must be paid in advance or at the lesson directly to Sarka. As a fully qualified professional and adjudicator (judge) on the Open circuit, Sarka Brock possesses all of the skills required to enable you to develop your dance up to International championship standards. |
